Harshaali Malhotra Trolled on Facebook For Calling Katrina Kaif 'Aunty,'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 20 Jul, 2016 12:57 PM
Katrina Kaif's birthday last Saturday was marked by a very belated but grand social media debut. The Fitoor actress, newly 33, is now on Facebook and received a birthday wish from a pint-sized colleague. While she was thrilled, some were offended on her behalf.

The birthday post came from child star Harshaali Malhotra, who played Munni in last year's Bajrangi Bhaijaan opposite Salman Khan.

Harshaali, who is about eight, has a verified account on Facebook - hopefully someone official knows that she does not meet the minimum age requirement of 13 and is okay with it.

However, moving on. On Saturday, Harshaali posted a picture of herself and the birthday girl, addressed to "Katrina Kaif auntie."

"Thank you love," replied Katrina. Her comment was all but lost in the barrage of responses that took exception to the actress been Auntyfied.

"Never ever call her aunty, she is just as cute as you," one commenter told Harshaali. Call her didi, suggested others.

    Still others sniggered.
