  • I'm playing my dream role in 'Jaanisaar', says Imran Abbas
Pakistani actor Imran Abbas, who is gearing up for the release of his second Bollywood film "Jaanisaar", says it is his dream role.

"Jaanisaar" is a period drama based on the love story of a prince and dancer, played by Imran and debutante Pernia Qureshi respectively.

"I think for any actor this will be a dream role. Very few people make these kind of films, and when Muzaffar Ali offered this role to me, it was like a dream come true for me," Imran said.

Talking about the character he is playing in the film, Imran said: "The character of Raja Ameer Haider is close to my heart because this character understands music and shayari and I am also a student of music and shayari. During the shoot, Muzaffar sir narrated the character so beautifully that I started living it."

"Jaanisaar" is set to release on August 7.
