Kangana, Madhavan Unveil Spunky 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' Trailer

  • Kangana, Madhavan Unveil Spunky 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' Trailer
Actors Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan on Tuesday unveiled the entertaining trailer of their upcoming movie "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" here.

The film is a sequel to the 2011 romantic comedy "Tanu Weds Manu".

"We shot for the first film six years ago, and this story begins from where we left the last story. So, it's a sequel in a true sense. It's a lovely film," Madhavan told reporters.

Adding to this, Kangana recollected that when director Anand L. Rai had first come to her with the script, offering her to play a girl who drinks a lot and flirts, she thought that such girls are always considered vamps in Hindi films. But "Tanu Weds Manu" changed it for Hindi filmdom.

"This has become a trend in the films. Tanu has now become a quintessential heroine in Bollywood. 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' is a progressive story of a husband and wife," added the actress who has a double role in the film.
