Manj Musik In Talks With Kylie Jenner For 'Supermodel' Single

Darpan News Desk IANS, 09 Sep, 2016 01:15 PM
Music composer and singer Manj Musik, who is currently riding high on the success on his latest party number "Lak hilaade", has reportedly approached reality TV personality Kylie Jenner for his next Punjabi single titled "Supermodel".

Manj, whose real name is Manjeet Ral, also plans to surprise everyone by making Jenner sing a few lines in Hindi.

Rapper Raftaar, who has crooned songs picturised on Bollywood celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan and John Abraham, will also feature in the "Supermodel" single.

According to sources close to the composer, Jenner will be seen wearing Indo-western wear by SOS Clothing (Manj's fashion brand).

"Manjeet is in discussion with Jenner for his single 'Supermodel' that will be filmed in Los Angeles. The song has a very global feel. There are good chances of Jenner singing a few lines in Hindi and from what we are told she is being paid a whopping amount to be a part of this project. In fact, Jenner has requested to wrap up the entire shoot in not more than five hours," added the source.

Ankit Khanna, Director, DNH and Business Partner, Manj Musik Inc, said: "Yes, our global team has approached Kylie Jenner and we are in the final stages of negotiations.

We are trying to figure out how best we can leverage this association. Additionally, we are also in talks with a few more international artists for Manj's album that's called Punjabi Billboards which would be Manj's tribute to the Punjabi music community."

Manj's recent singles "Lakh hilaade" featuring Amy Jackson and "Margaye" which features Sunny Leone -- were instant hits.
