Mohit Suri in New York for 'Half Girlfriend'

    Director Mohit Suri is scouting a location here for his next film titled "Half Girlfriend", an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's book by the same name.
     
    "In #NYC for #half girlfriend recce! It's Christmas season @chetan_bhagat @EkmainaurEktu7," Suri tweeted about his stay here for the upcoming romantic movie, which is being produced by Ekta Kapoor.
     
    He even shared a photograph of the film's director of photography.
     
    "My DOP vishnu Rao at work #half girlfriend recce! #NYC @chetan_bhagat @EkmainaurEktu7 @tushar1307 @tansworld," tweeted the director.
     
    Bhagat's novel "Half Girlfriend" is about a Bihari boy falling in love with a girl from the upper class society.
     
    The author's other books have been made into films. While "3 idiots" was based on "Five Point Someone", "Hello" was based on "One Night @ The Call Centre". "The Three Mistakes of My Life" was adapted as "Kai Po Che!" and "2 States" was based on "2 States: The Story of My Marriage".
