Numbers Matter As Producer Not As Actor: John Abraham

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Aug, 2016 01:59 PM
John Abraham says box office numbers do not matter to him as an actor, but as a producer of a film he does get concerned.

"I have always maintained that for me, numbers don't really matter. They are not an implicator for me, personally. As a producer, yes, we look at numbers. But for John Abraham as a person, the numbers don't matter. For me, it's the audience's appreciation," John told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

Currently enjoying the success of his latest film "Dishoom", he says people's appreciation of his films makes him happy.

The 43-year-old actor says he neither gets euphoric after a film's success nor depressed after a movie's failure.

John is now gearing up for his next release "Force 2", which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin.

He says the film will have "real action".

"'Force 2' has got very different action. It has very real action... The scale of action is one notch higher than what you have already seen as we have upped the action quotient," he said.
