People Liked Our Work: Saiyami On 'Mirzya'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 30 Nov, 2016 11:13 AM
Actress Saiyami Kher, whose debut film "Mirzya" failed to work at the box office, says what matters the most to her is that people liked her work in the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directorial.

Along with Saiyami, actor-producer Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan made his debut in the film, a take on the tragic love story of Mirza-Sahiban.

Saiyami told IANS: "We had put our hard work in the film for two years and the reason I took the project was because I liked the script and not because I had an expectation that it will enter the Rs 100-crore club. What matters to me is that people liked our work."

"People still ask me if I will be seen sharing screen space with Harshvardhan again, which is an accomplishment."

Talking about her future projects, the actress who recently attended the Grazia Beauty Weekend here, said: "There are three to four projects. If things fall into place, I will talk about them soon."

Asked her about dream directors she wants to work with, she said: "My list is long as I admire the work of so many directors. Be it Sriram Raghavan ji or Zoya Akhtar, I want to work with all, and I hope to live this dream soon."
