People think adventure junkies are mad: Gul Panag

Darpan News Desk IANS, 14 Nov, 2014 12:36 PM
  • People think adventure junkies are mad: Gul Panag
Actress Gul Panag, who is the face of the adventure campaign Kingfisher Blue Mile, said it's a general convention that adventurous people are mad.

“Adventure to me is about pushing my limits, pushing my endurance limits and taking extremely calculated risks,” the actress told IANS on a telephonic interview.

“Most people think adventure is being reckless. The typical person out there thinks, 'People who are adventurous are actually mad'. No, they're not.

“They're not reckless at all. They plan and they calculate and then you take risks. Those who pursue adventure are essentially people who understand the risks involved, cater for them and then push their limits,” she added.

The campaign will take adventure and wanderlust seekers on a thrilling trekking expedition to Everest base camp.

The actress will be present at select campouts as the official ranker of the campaign. She will also flag off the trek and greet the participants as they summit at Everest base camp.

Blue Miles will be aired on NDTV Good Times.
