  • Shreya Feels 'Special' With Triple Nomination At TOIFA
Songstress Shreya Ghoshal has three of her tracks up for nomination in the Best Playback Singer (Female) category at the second edition of the Times Of India Film Awards (TOIFA). She admits it is unusual but special.

Ghoshal's "Deewani mastani", "Pinga" and "Mohe rang do lal" from filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansal's magnum opus "Bajirao Mastani" have been nominated.

Talking about it, Ghoshal said: "This does not happen usually. This is also special because thought all the songs are from 'Bajirao Mastani', they are from different genres and have different renditions."

Others who are competing in the same category with Ghoshal are Swati Sharma for "Banno" ("Tanu Weds Manu Returns") and Monali Thakur for "Moh moh ke dhaage" ("Dum Laga Ke Haisha").

To be held at the Dubai International stadium on March 18, the second edition of the awards ceremony will see some stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan take to the stage.

The show will be co-hosted by actors Riteish Deshmukh and Parineeti Chopra, who will be seen entertaining the audience with quirky gags. The first edition of the event was held at Vancouver, British Columbia in 2013.
