Taapsee Pannu, Neeraj Pandey team up for 'Meera'

IANS, 26 Aug, 2016 11:30 AM
Actress Taapsee Pannu has been roped in for a film titled "Meera", produced by Neeraj Pandey.

After working in last year's film "Baby", the two will be teaming up for the film, directed by Shivam Nair.

The story of the film revolves around Meera, the character essayed by Taapsee, and it reveals the back story of how she becomes a special agent.

Taapsee will have to undergo intense training for her role as the film is meant to have several stunts and will begin shooting here from end of September.

Taapsee said in a statement: "It's almost too good to believe that I'm getting to play the title role in my career so early. I was told about this film almost a year back, but I never believed it. Now finally it's happening and I am ready to get trained in some intensive martial art form for the action thriller."

It will also star Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee.
