TV Helps In Getting Additional Audiences For Films: Tisca Chopra

Darpan News Desk IANS, 12 Jun, 2016 12:55 PM
  • TV Helps In Getting Additional Audiences For Films: Tisca Chopra
Actress Tisca Chopra says television helps in getting an additional audience other than the target audience.

Tisca, whose film "Ghayal Once Again" will be airing on Zee Cinema on June 26, says there is a fixed audience for every film, and premiering a movie on TV helps in garnering more audiences.

"I think there is a fixed audience for every film in cinema. Like people who like action will see 'Ghayal Once Again' and stuff like that. What you get (with TV) is additional audience," Tisca told IANS over phone from Mumbai.

She added: "They (audience) will not go to cinema halls, but will wait for it (film) on TV. So, you get additional audiences other than the ones, who are your target audience."

Talking about her co-star Sunny Deol from the film "Ghayal Once Again", Tisca said: "Sunny Deol is a pleasant person unlike his screen image, he is not aggressive and is shy. He took very good care of us. He has a very quiet sense of humour. I had a lovely time working with him."

Would she like to work with Sunny again?

"Depends on the script. Definitely," she said.
