  • Watch SRK's Tryst With Trams In Bengal Tourism Ad
An ad film featuring superstar Shah Rukh Khan's tryst with Kolkata's iconic trams will go on air in March as part of West Bengal's tourism campaign, according to an official.

Shah Rukh, who is also Bengal's brand ambassador, shot the television commercial in the city recently to promote Bengal as a top tourism destination.

"According to the story board, SRK will be seen helping out a female tourist," tourism department principal secretary AR Bardhan said.

As per Bengal's revamped tourism campaign 'Experience Bengala the sweetest part of India', SRK will urge travellers to visit the state's tourism hotspots such as Darjeeling hills, Sundarbans forests, tea gardens in north Bengal and the famed terracotta temples of Bishnupur and soak in the scenic beauty along the Ganges.

A series of eight to 10 TVCs of 45 seconds each have been lined up, the official said, adding that the Bengal tourism department has roped in ad agency Ogilvy & Mather for the task.
