Pianist Billy Joel is set to become a father again for the second time at the age 65. The singer is having a baby with his girlfriend Alexis Roderick, who is 32 years his junior.
It is Joel’s second time as a father after his first child, Alexa Ray Joel, whom he had with his second wife Christie Brinkley in 1985.
Joel and Alexis have been dating for five years and are expecting the baby in August, reports mirror.co.uk.
A source told Radar Online that Alexis has been keeping a low profile around her New York home not wanting to be seen just yet with her growing bump.
“There are lots of family photos with Alexis and her growing belly,” said a source close to the singer.
“She doesn’t leave the house too often because she doesn't want anyone to know. And she wears big dresses to cover it up. They are reported to have chosen the name Madison,” the source added.
The 33-year-old is a former financial adviser for the investment bank Morgan Stanley.
Although the couple have not married, he gave her a diamond ring a couple years ago.
Joel has been married three times before, most famously to Brinkley, who appeared in the video to “Uptown Girl”.
