Daniel Radcliffe not in 'James Bond'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Aug, 2014 06:29 AM
Actor Daniel Radcliffe is surprised by reports suggesting he is in the running to play a villain in the next "James Bond" movie.

The "Harry Potter" star fears his offhand responses to questions about his dream film roles have led to stories linking him to a role in the next Bond film, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"I think that's literally one of those things where... someone says, 'Would you ever play James Bond?' and I said, 'I don't think I'm really cast-able as James Bond, I'd rather be a villain'. That then eventually turns into, 'Daniel Radcliffe has been cast as the next Bond villain', which is totally untrue.." he said.

Radcliffe has also dismissed rumours he is set to make his superhero debut as Batman's sidekick Robin in another movie project, but there is one comic book character he is interested in.

"I'd play (DC Comics superhero) Nightwing," he said.
