Kate Winslet's Theatre Problem

Darpan News Desk IANS, 23 Nov, 2015 10:47 AM
Actress Kate Winslet says she would love to perform on stage, but doesn't want to give up evenings with her children.

"I think it's the only thing so far that really has been holding me back, that I would lose my weekends and those very important bedtimes which I'm never going to get back,” Winslet, who has children Mia, 14, Joe, 11, and 23-month-old Bear, said on a radio show, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

While she admits that balancing work with her children isn't always easy, she knows how lucky she is compared to many others.

The “Titanic” star said: "I'm not going to pretend that it's straightforward. I always immediately think of the incredible women who work nine-to-five jobs, 48 weeks of the year. Because they're the women I take my hat off to."
