Lena Dunham Suggests Bieber's New Song Promotes Rape Culture

    Lena Dunham is seemingly not a fan of Justin Bieber's comeback single, "What Do You Mean", suggesting that it promotes rape culture and sends mixed messages about consent.
     
    The "Girls" creator and star appeared to take a shot at the Canadian singer via a Twitter post on Monday.
     
    Dunham didn't explicitly mention Bieber in her tweet, but she did make a reference to some lyrics from the track, reports aceshowbiz.com. 
     
    "Let's do away with pop songs where a girl nods yes when she means no and vice versa, k?" she wrote, referring to the lines, "What do you mean?/ When you nod your head yes/ But you wanna say no/ What do you mean?"
     
    "What Do You Mean" is the first song from Bieber's upcoming album, which is set to be released on November 13.
