BCLDB 39th & Cambie Signature Liquor Store08 Jun '17 @ 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Tasting of South African Wines Paired with Oyama Sausage Co. Treats
Select South African wines will be featured at BCLDB throughout the month of June. In conjunction with the promotion, BCLDB's 39th & Cambie Signature Liquor Store will host a FREE consumer tasting on Thursday, June 8th 2017. Guests at the event will enjoy South African wine samples paired with bites from Granville Island's Oyama Sausage Co.

The value and versatility of South African wines makes them favourite choices for barbecues, picnics, and game days. The free tasting is a great way to try selections from a variety of the country's wineries paired with sausages, cheeses, and pâtés from Oyama, which recently won first place in the Westender's Best Deli category.

Two groups of wines will be featured at the Cambie & 39th event.  From 2:00 to 4:00pm guests can taste Bellingham 'The Bernard Series' Old Vine Chenin Blanc, Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz, KWV Cathedral Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon, KWV Roodeberg, Two Oceans Sauvignon Blanc, and The Wolftrap Red.

A second flight of wines will be poured from 4:00 to 6:00pm, including Painted Wolf Cabernet Sauvignon, Cape Heritage Inception Red, Flagstone Winery Poetry Cabernet Sauvignon, Spier Signature Chenin Blanc, Stellar Organic Cabernet Sauvignon Pinotage Reserve, and Grape Grinder Pinotage
