Vancouver Police find 51 year old woman dead inside a Mount Pleasant apartment
VPD responded to reports of a disturbance inside a building near Ontario Street and First Avenue around 2:30 a.m. on May 1. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from fatal stab wounds. She died on scene.

5th arrest by NCB in Shaheen Bagh drug haul case, Dubai hawala link found
Earlier, four persons, including two Afghanistan nationals, were arrested by the NCB. The fifth accused Shamim Ahmad was arrested from from Laxmi Nagar. A person called Shahid controlled the hawala racket of Dubai. Seeing that Shamim had good links with middlemen working in Dubai, Shahid included him in his gang.
