23-Year-Old Man Dies After Falling From Train While Using Cellphone

    A 23-year-old man died today after he fell from a moving train while using his cellphone, police said.
     
    The incident took place at Survaya station in the district when Ajay Kumar Dubey, travelling in the Pratapgarh- Varanasi passenger, was busy using his mobile phone while sitting on the steps of a compartment, they said.
     
    He did not realise that the train is approaching the platform due to which his feet got tangled between the train and the platform causing him to fall from the train and getting dragged for some distance, police said.
     
    The man was rushed to a hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
