The victim, Hardeep Singh alias Deepa, had a dispute with Harpreet Singh alias Happy. Both Deepa and Happy had cases registered against them in connection with the dispute. Investigating officer Kuldeep Singh told the media that many cases were registered against both Happy and Deepa.
The Punjab Police on Thursday launched a statewide crackdown on the accomplices of Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar. Brar is an accused in the killing of singer Sidhu Moosewala. Satinderjeet Singh, alias Goldy Brar, a native of Muktsar Sahib, went to Canada on a student visa in 2017.
