  • Abhijeet Dipke slapped by two youths during Jaipur protest

A major commotion broke out during a protest organised by the Cockroach Janata Party at Jaipur's Shaheed Smarak on Monday after two youths allegedly slapped party founder Abhijeet Dipke amid a large gathering of supporters.

According to eyewitnesses, Dipke was being carried on the shoulders of supporters as he made his way towards the protest venue when two youths emerged from the crowd and slapped him.

The incident triggered chaos at the site, with enraged supporters immediately apprehending the alleged attackers and assaulting them.

The situation remained tense for some time before police intervened and restored order.

Earlier during the protest, a dispute reportedly broke out among some participants, leading police to detain one individual.

Several attendees also complained about mobile phone thefts at the venue, prompting organisers to appeal from the stage for participants to remain vigilant about their belongings.

Meanwhile, Dipke addressed the gathering from the stage and strongly criticised communal and caste-based politics.

Leading supporters in slogans against divisive politics, he said the country was won through the sacrifices of millions of people and should not be divided on the basis of religion or caste.

He urged the youth to remain united and focus on issues affecting their future.

Announcing the next phase of the agitation, Dipke declared that supporters would march to Delhi on June 20 and continue their campaign until their demands were met.

Raising the slogan "Delhi Chalo", he called on protesters to intensify the movement.

The event concluded with the singing of the national anthem.

The demonstration at Shaheed Smarak was organised to raise concerns over the alleged NEET paper leak, educational reforms, unemployment and other youth-related issues.

A large number of students and young people participated in the protest, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Participants arrived carrying the national flag and placards bearing messages such as "Stop Paper Leaks" and "Corruption Is Unacceptable".

Following the disturbance, police increased security measures and maintained a strong presence around the protest venue to prevent any further incidents.
