Jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim's adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan has moved an application for regular bail in the Panchkula court. She sought the bail on the grounds that no evidence was found against her by the Haryana Police.

Meanwhile, prosecution opposed Honeypreet's bail plea. The Panchkula court has reserved its order on Honeypreet's bail application.

Honeypreet's counsel Dhruv Gupta argued that 15 people booked under various sections an FIR related with Panchkula violence, have been granted bail by different courts, including district courts and high court.

Gupta added that there were some accused, who were facing serious charges in comparison of Honeypreet, have also been granted relief of bail.
