Gurugram, Aug 9 (IANS) A 29-year-old man was found dead at an "ahata" with a gunshot wound in Sector-57 area on Monday morning in Gurugram, the police said.
The police identified the victim as Phool Kumar of Charkhi Dadri who used to work at the ahata owned by Anil Kumar.
According to the police, following information police reached the spot and took custody of the body and also detained the ahata operator Anil Kumar for questioning.
"The body has been sent for an autopsy. The police are investigating the matter to ascertain the reason behind the incident," Subhash Boken, spokesperson of the Gurugram police, said.
Suspicion has now arisen over three more deaths linked to Jolly, the woman who is the prime suspect in six mysterious deaths in her family, and who is currently in judicial custody even as reports have surfaced that she was also planning to eliminate two children.
Naveen Dalal, along with another man, had allegedly attacked Umar Khalid at the Constitution Club in Delhi on August 13 last year. At the time, the two men had told the police that they had planned to disrupt the event that was being held at the Constitution Club.
The Mumbai Congress leader, who has lately been at loggerheads with the party leadership, claimed that Mallikarjun Kharge does not care for the country's religious traditions because he is an "atheist".
