Canadian Man Held At Delhi Airport With Fake Ticket

    The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has apprehended a Canadian national at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, who entered terminal 3 on a forged ticket, an official statement said on Friday here.
     
     
    On Thursday, the CISF duty personnel noticed a passenger, later identified as Kushminder Singh Bains, a Canadian citizen, roaming suspiciously at check-in area and trying to go out from the terminal building of IGI Airport.
     
     
    He was intercepted by the CISF and enquired.
     
     
    During enquiry, he revealed that he gained access into the terminal building on a cancelled ticket of a flight bound for Toronto, to see his grandmother off.
     
     
    "On enquiry, Bains revealed that he gained access to the terminal building on a cancelled ticket of a flight bound for Toronto to see off his grandmother," CISF Assistant Inspector General Hemendra Singh said. 
     
     
    After verifying the facts from the concerned airline, Kushminder Singh was handed over to Delhi Police for further legal action.
