Himanshu, son of Niranjan Singh, a student at a private school in Bishada village, was rushed to a hospital nearby by his parents, Station House Officer Shailendra Singh said.
The incident apparently occurred yesterday while Bodiga Shobha was on her way to the state capital Hyderabad.
She is allegedly close to a local dera mahant whose family was furious over this. Two of the accused are his family members.
Out of those arrested, a staggering 2,706 were subsequently acquitted. Convictions for riot-related offences amounted to 412.
