Day 5: Rahul Gandhi questioned for 9 hours without lunch break

New Delhi, June 21 (IANS) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi left the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) headquarters at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday after being questioned for about nine hours in connection with the National Herald issue. Sources said he has been given a dinner break.
Gandhi is expected to return to the ED office after dinner.
He was questioned for around 9 hours without a lunch break. It was his fifth day of being questioned.
Rahul Gandhi has so far been grilled for a total of about 49 hours.
He was reportedly questioned about a few transactions made by Kolkata-based Dotex Merchandise Pvt Ltd.
Sonia Gandhi, who is presently in hospital due to Covid related health issues, has also been summoned on June 23 in the same case.
Police said that doctors gave him enema to recover the jewellery from his stomach. The man along with his girlfriend was invited by a friend for Eid celebrations at her home.
"The vehicle was on its way from Udhampur to Jammu when it went out of the driver's control and rolled down into a deep gorge near Jambhu Zoo."In the incident, three persons identified as Gurdeep Singh, Sham Lal and Vikas Kumar, all residents of Punjab, died on the spot".
Asking Mann not to become a puppet in the hands of Kejriwal, the SAD President said: "The Chief Minister should take review meetings of the law and order situation as well as ensure those responsible for flaring communal tensions in the recent Patiala clash are brought to task instead of keeping himself busy by deputing Punjab Police teams to Delhi to arrest opponents of AAP."
Farmers union members are also expected to meet local authorities seeking a speedy trial in the case. Farmer leaders claim that MoS for Home Ajay Mishra Teni continues to remain in office despite past assurances from government of looking into the matter.
