While the nation still recovers from the untimely loss of former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj, B-town actors are remembering the times they shared with Swaraj.

Veteran actor Dharmendra shared a moving post for Swaraj, 24 hours after her last rites were performed with full state honours.

The 83-year-old actor called Swaraj his “chhoti behan”. Dharemendra posted a picture on Twitter where the two can be seen at a formal function, hugging each other.

Donning a black suit, Dharmendra greets Swaraj, who is seen wearing a green sari.

On Thursday, the veteran actor wrote in Hindi: “Bepanaah khoobiyon se bharapoor, mamata bharee, meree chhoti bahan. Teri aakhiree vidaee ne poore desh ko rula diya.”

After the news broke out, Dharmendra shared another picture of Swaraj, saying: “Anaadi siyaasatdaan kah kar seene se laga leteen theen mujhe, sushama jee; duniyaan bhar ki chaheti, Bharat ki mahaan neta meri chhoti bahan bahut yaad aaengi aap !!! Bhagavaan aap ki aatma ko shaanti de”.

Swaraj died of cardiac arrest at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Tuesday night. Bansuri Swaraj, her daughter, performed her last rites.
