According to health officials, India has reached a milestone with over 2 million coronavirus vaccine doses in a day for the first time all in order to speed up efforts to fight this global pandemic. 

Several aspects of the vaccination drive were discussed and various states were asked to prepare a detailed timeline for the next three months in order to maximize the coverage.

India hopes to deliver 300 million doses to the most at-risk due to their jobs or health factors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi via a Twitter post spoke about India's efforts to help with vaccine distribution globally. 

Health authorities and government officials via video conference discussed how the distribution and accessibility can be achieved in a better way right across towns, districts, and villages.
