Indian Man On Trail For Molesting Twice Iranian Girl In Dubai

IANS, 17 May, 2018 01:01 PM
An Indian man in Dubai has gone on trial for allegedly molesting a five-year-old Iranian girl twice, according to a media report.

According to the public prosecution records, the 46-year-old man molested the girl outside her house in Al Barsha on two different occasions.

The girl's father, a 44-year-old Iranian manager, told prosecutors that his daughter had "confirmed that the worker had kissed her on the lips when she was with the neighbours' daughter near the parking lot".

"On March 13, my wife and I reported the worker to his foreman. The latter then brought him before us and my girl identified him," Khaleej Times quoted him as saying yesterday.

The family then went to the police station to lodge a complaint. "When our girl recounted what happened with her, she felt so scared and would not enter the same room where the defendant was. She only entered after he was taken outside," the father said.

The man, however, has denied a molestation charge at the Court of First Instance, the report said.
