J&K: Two non-local labrouers shot at by terrorists

Srinagar, April 22 (IANS) Two non-local labrouers were injured at Nowgam in Srinagar district on Friday after terrorists fired upon them, officials said.
The victims, both from West Bengal, were rushed to the SMHS hospital in Srinagar, where the condition of one is stated to be critical while the other is stable.
"Terrorists fired upon two non-local labourers in the Nowgam area on the outskirts of Srinagar. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation is underway to nab the miscreants," the police said.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday blamed BJP ally Shiromani Akali Dal for the desecration of Guru Granth Sahib, an emotive issue in Punjab.
The talks by Sushma Swaraj, Javad Zarif came 12 days after the US ended six-month-long exemptions from sanctions to India and seven other countries to buy oil from Iran.
This was not the first time Urmila Matondkar has taken a dig at PM Modi. Her last big attack had come in April when she had suggested the PM didn't deserve a biopic.
Pakistan was the latest to join the list of 10 countries that are facing such sanctions under a law according to which countries refusing to take back deportees and visa over-stayers could be denied America visas.
The boys allegedly made indecent gestures and passed lewd comments on the businessman's 27-year-old daughter when they were returning home on a two-wheeler from a hospital.
