Khalistani Terrorist Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar Shifted To Amritsar Jail

    Khalistani terrorist Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar, who is on death row, was shifted to the Amritsar Central Jail from Delhi's Tihar Jail on Friday, a government official said.
     
    On reaching Amritsar, he underwent medical examination at the Government Guru Nanak Dev Hospital.
     
    Police Deputy Commissioner Parmpal Singh told reporters that the Amritsar jail authorities had received a communication from Tihar jail about Bhullar's shifting.
     
    Official sources said Bhullar's wife Navneet Kaur has demanded the Bhullar be lodge in the Amritsar Jail, citing his poor health.
     
    Kaur, who had migrated to Canada in 1994, has her parental house in Amritsar.
     
    Bhullar, a Khalistan Liberation Force terrorist, was sentenced to death for masterminding a 1993 car bomb attack in front of the Youth Congress office in New Delhi that killed 12 people.
