Now Congress' Rajasthan legislator attacks Rahul Gandhi

    In another attack on Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi following the party's debacle in the Lok Sabha election, a party legislator in Rajasthan Saturday called him "MD of Congress circus".
     
    "Rahul Gandhi is the MD (managing director) of Congress circus and is surrounded by four to five jokers. People like Rahul and Sachin Pilot have come through political legacy. Sycophants around Gandhi are misguiding him," Bhanwar Lal Sharma told Aaj Tak news channel.
     
    The remarks came after the double battering suffered by the party's state unit. The BJP, which had swept to power in Rajasthan in the December assembly polls last year, won all the 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
     
    Sharma's comments came days after T.H. Mustafa, a senior Congress leader from Kerala, called the 43-year-old Gandhi scion a "joker" and was suspended from the party consequently.
