A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly murdering his mother after she refused to give him money to buy drugs, police said.
According to the initial probe, the teenager fatally shot his mother Kulwinder Kaur with his father's licensed gun in Kot Dharmu village.
The incident took place when the father of the accused Kuldeep Singh was away from home. The police said that Mr Singh filed the complaint.
