Retired Indian Air Marshal PV Iyer At 90 Does Pull-Ups; IAF Shares Video

    India’s retired air-marshall PV Iyer who turned 90 on October 30, proved that 'age is just a number' when it comes to staying fit and active.

     

    Iyer, who is an active sportsperson, is also known as the 'Running Air Marshal' in the IAF.

     

    The Indian Air Force wished the retired Air Marshal a “joyous occasions”.

     

    In a tweet, on Wednesday, IAF wrote: “It's heartening to see the enthusiasm of Air Mshl PV Iyer (Retd), a nonagenarian. Air Mshl has been a source of inspiration to many, he is an active sportsperson & has proven that 'Age is indeed just a number', we wish you a very happy 90th birthday & many more joyous occasions. https://t.co/fFng0kgUDV #fitindiamovement #AirWarrior #jaihind.”

     
     
     
     

    The ‘Running Man’ has logged in about 1,20,000 km in his over 50-year-long running career. The video has over 80,000 views and tons of comments. Twitter couldn’t hold back to praise the retired Air Marshal.
