  • 'Safe And Secure', French Woman Traced To Farmhouse In Rajasthan
Gaelle Chouteau, a French national who was reportedly missing since June 1 from Rajasthan’s Pushkar, was on Thursday evening traced to an organic farm house at Sare-Khurd village under Bhiwadi, about 100 km from Alwar.

The 20-year-old French tourist, who was last seen in a CCTV footage at Pushkar where she stayed on May 30 and 31, was found “safe and secure” at the farm house under Chaupanki police station, IGP (Ajmer Range) Malini Agarwal told.

She had come to Satya-Jyoti Organic Farm House on June 1 afternoon by boarding a bus via Jaipur and alighted at Daruhera where a person from the farm house received her, Bhiwadi Additional SP Pushpendra Singh Solanki said.

Through emails, she had come in contact with the organic farm which is linked to the World Organisation of Organic Farmers. She had also sent text to her parents on WhatsApp informing about her visit, but they did not see it and informed the French Embassy, Solanki said.

She also complained to her parents that why they did not see her WhatsApp text and why did they report her missing to the Embassy, Solanki said.

The French Embassy was duly informed and the tourist also talked to them and her parents over phone. Rajasthan Police have circulated the CCTV footage and a picture of Gaelle Chouteau to major cities in Rajasthan, especially bus depots and railway stations.
