Sikh activists on Monday protested outside the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) office here against the DSSSB chairman and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
They were against the board’s decision of preventing Sikh candidates from wearing ‘kirpan’ and ‘kara’ in the examination.
The activists were led by DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa and general secretary Harmeet Singh Kalka.
"There will be only one tax level. There will not be five different taxes," Rahul Gandhi said.
In total, 10 snatching and auto-theft cases were registered against them, the police said.
Board chairman Waseem Rizvi said there are over 1,500 madrassas and schools running on Waqf properties in the state and they will have to abide by the directive.
