Sucha Singh Langah Excommunicated By Akal Takht

IANS, 05 Oct, 2017 10:45 AM
The Akal Takht on Thursday excommunicated former SAD minister Such Singh Langah after the meeting of the five Sikh high priests.

Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh pronounced the edict from the Akal Takht.

The jathedar said though Langah was removed from all posts he held in the SGPC and SAD...still if he has been associated with any organisation he should be removed.

He cautioned that anyone who has been involved in such immoral activities must not be included in any religious organisation in future.

“A person’s character should be the main criteria before nominating anyone for membership of any religious organisation,” he said.

Regarding the Sikh leaders visiting the Sirsa dera prior to elections, he condemned Rajinder Kaur Bhattal and Arjun Singh Badal (son of Manpreet Badal) and directed them to appear before the Akal Takht to submit their apology otherwise stern action would be taken against them, he said.
