Sukhbir Singh Badal Forms 40-Member Youth Akali Dal Core Committee

    The president of the Shiromani Akali Dal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal has formed a Youth Akali Dal core committee after consulting with coordinator and cabinet minister Sharanjit Singh Dhillon.
     
    Apprising from party head office, Sukhbir Singh Badal said that senior leaders of the Youth Akali Dal who have been working with the party for years are inducted in the core committee. 
     
     
    The leader who have been included in the core committee include – Amarpal Singh Bony Ajnala, Manjit Singh Mona (both parliamentry secretaries), Manpreet Singh Italy(MLA), Baljit Singh Jlalusma (MLA), Harpreet Singh Kotbhai(MLA), Inder Iqbal Singh Atwal (former MLA), Dilraj Singh Bhundar, Ravikaran Singh Kahlon, Barjinder Singh Brar, Kanwarjit Singh Rozi Barkandi, Sarbjot Singh Sahbi, Parminder Singh Brar, Parambans Singh Bunty Romana, Harpal Juneja, Tarsem Singh Bhindar, Harinderpal Singh Chandumajra, Satbir Singh Khattra, Amrinder Singh, Vinarjit Singh Goldy, Bobby Badal, Satgur Singh Anmol, Gurinder Singh Bhatti, Gurpreet Singh Rajukhanna, Yuvraj Bhupinder Singh, Ravipreet Singh Sidhu, Sukhman Singh Sidhu, Harmeet Singh Dhillon, Kulwant Singh Kanta, Rakhvinder Singh Gabrhia, Harpreet Singh Basant, Balkar Singh Brar, Gurpreet Singh Bnawali, Nardev Singh Maan, Tarlok Singh Bathh, Ranjit Singh Khojewal, Manjinder Singh Dhillon, Satpal Singh Toor, Harkomaljit Singh Romi, Baldev Singh Khehra Phillaur and Harinder Singh Dhindsa.
     
    The Youth Akali Dal is the youth wing of Shiromani Akali Dal and it believes in a secular and democratic outlook and continuously working towards the upliftment of weaker sections of society. The party leaders have been greatly influenced by the Pride of Punjab, Sardar Parkash Singh Badal who suffered a lot and was jailed on several occasions for raising Punjab issues.
     
    The Youth Akali Dal is the only youth organization in the country that has participated in social, environmental and cultural issues. Empowerment of women, farmers and other sections of society has been its core agenda.
