Ten-Month-Old Girl Raped In Delhi

    A ten-month-old girl was raped by a 38-year-old man and thrown into the bushes after he assumed her to be dead.
     
    According to Delhi Police, the accused identified as Vijay, has been arrested.
     
    Vijay kidnapped the girl while she was sleeping with her labourer father. He took her behind some nearby bushes, raped her, and abandoned the infant there.
     
    The girl's family reported to the police as soon as they realised the child was missing, and a team was assigned to recover the infant.
     
    A police personnel found the girl behind the bushes from where she was taken to a hospital.
     
    A mobile phone found at the spot helped in identifying the rapist.
     
    The accused who belongs to Saharsa in Bihar, was also a part of the search team and was pretending to look for the girl, the police said.
