‘Bikini Cop’ Making Arrest Of Alleged Pickpocket In Sweden Goes Viral Online

IANS, 29 Jul, 2016 02:57 PM
Off-duty Swedish police officer Mikaela Kellner jumped into action after a suspect allegedly stole a phone from her and her friends while they were sunbathing in a park.

Now a photo of Kellner, in just a bikini, arresting the suspect has grabbed plenty of attention online.

“I just acted on instinct and didn’t think about it so much until after we had pinned him down,” Ms. Kellner told Stockholm news site The Local, according to Time. “When I sat there, I looked over at our other two friends who are not police officers and realized that it probably looked pretty funny. But I would have stepped in no matter my outfit.”

Of course, Ms. Kellner is not just your average cop. According to her Instagram page, she’s a power lifter and CrossFit athlete as well as a former contestant on Swedish Ninja Warrior.
