Searchers Scour Stanley Park Seeking Any Sign Of 32-Year-Old New Westminster Mother

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 27 Oct, 2016 11:16 AM
VANCOUVER — The search for a young Metro Vancouver mother is expected to ramp up in Vancouver's Stanley Park.

Thirty-two-year-old Florence Leung has been missing since Tuesday when she was last seen driving away from her New Westminster home.

The search focused on Stanley Park after her white 2016 Audi Q5 was found there late Wednesday afternoon

A release issued by New Westminster Police said Leung's family is very concerned because the mother of a two-month-old boy may be suffering from post-partum depression.

Members of North Shore Rescue joined the Stanley Park search Wednesday night.

A post on the organization's Facebook page says the area around Prospect Point, the Lions Gate Bridge and seawall have been checked and a more thorough search of the bush and park trails continues.
