Someone Called This Sikh Man’s Turban ‘Bandage’ So He Matched It To His Roll Royces For A Week

  • Someone Called This Sikh Man’s Turban ‘Bandage’ So He Matched It To His Roll Royces For A Week

This fascinating tale is about Reuben Singh, CEO of AlldayPA, and founder of Miss Attitude, a clothing brand (now defunct) that was popular back in the 90's in the UK.

After an unprecedented fall in 2007, Singh had to let go of his business in 2007, which he had actually started at the age of 17, and while many thought that this 'British Bill Gates' (as he was called) will not be able to recover, he rose like a phoenix from the ashes to prove everyone wrong.

Recently, an Englishman tried to mock Singh's turban and he had a befitting reply.

So in response, he challenged the Englishman that he would match his turbans to his Rolls Royce cars for an entire week and that's exactly what he did!

Day3 (brown/brown) of the #rrturbanchallenge given to me by my Friend (see Day 1 for challenge) to raise money for charity on the bet. As Sikh’s our Turban is our Crown. Each morning the Turban comes 1st then everything follows, the RR’s too🙏We all should be proud of our identity whatever religion. So many try to hide their identity, religion, culture from fear of what others may think. Each and everyone has their own identity, be proud of it with humility. . . . #turban #singh #matchingoutfits #matchingturbans #turbanchallenge #rollsroyce #sikh #sardar #charity #desi #punjabi #india #indian #ootd #gurugobindsinghji #rollsroycedawn #cheshire #cheshirelife #religiouslife#hypebeast#picoftheday #photooftheday #christianlouboutin #tomford #gucci #berluti #louisvuitton #billionairecouture #billionaire @rollsroyceedinburgh

Day4 (burgundy/burgundy) of the #rrturbanchallenge given to me by my Friend (see Day 1 for challenge) to raise money for charity on the bet. As Sikh’s our Turban is our Crown. A totally innocent joke was made about my turban, which hurt me, resulted in me throwing down the gauntlet to this challenge so long as the people who made it pay money to charity. I’m proud of my identity and everyone should be proud of theirs whatever your religion, culture, or roots are. This is absolutely to raise awareness on everyone’s individuality and respect & nothing else whatsoever. . . . #turban #singh #matchingoutfits #matchingturbans #turbanchallenge #rollsroyce #sikh #sardar #charity #desi #punjabi #india #indian #ootd #gurugobindsinghji #rollsroycephantom #cheshire #cheshirelife #religiouslife#hypebeast#picoftheday #photooftheday #christianlouboutin #tomford #gucci #berluti #louisvuitton #billionairecouture #billionaire @rollsroyceedinburgh

Day5 (grey/grey) of the #rrturbanchallenge given to me by my Friend (see Day 1 for challenge) to raise money for charity on the bet. As Sikh’s our Turban is our Crown. I’m glad the challenge means money will be given to charity but is also gaining awareness for each persons individuality. Thank you all for the DM’s and messages of support! Was hoping it would be taken in the way it has! And yes I’m still friends with the guy who made the (hurtful) joke about my Turban that led to the bet in the first place! Enjoy Day 5 🙏 . . . #turban #singh #matchingoutfits #matchingturbans #turbanchallenge #rollsroyce #sikh #sardar #charity #desi #punjabi #india #indian #ootd #gurugobindsinghji #rollsroycephantom #cheshire #cheshirelife #religiouslife#hypebeast#picoftheday #photooftheday #christianlouboutin #tomford #gucci #berluti #louisvuitton #billionairecouture #billionaire @rollsroyceedinburgh

Day6 (black/black) of the #rrturbanchallenge , it’s snowing! (see Day 1 for challenge) which I agreed for charity. As Sikh’s our Turban is our Crown. “Why fit in when we were all born to stand out” just be your own voice not some one else’s echo cos wanting to be some one else is a waste of the person you are. Come let’s all celebrate being ourselves today. . . . #turban #singh #matchingoutfits #matchingturbans #turbanchallenge #rollsroyce #sikh #sardar #charity #desi #punjabi #india #indian #ootd #gurugobindsinghji #rollsroycephantom #cheshire #cheshirelife #religiouslife#hypebeast#picoftheday #photooftheday #christianlouboutin #tomford #gucci #berluti #louisvuitton #billionairecouture #billionaire @rollsroycecars

No one has the right to judge anyone else’s identity! Let’s all love each other as Mankind. Come celebrate life today with me. Go make some one happy & smile today😃. Happiness is not a destination. Happiness is all in the mind. Be humble Be happy Just be You! . . . #turban #singh #matchingoutfits #matchingturbans #turbanchallenge #rollsroyce #sikh #sardar #charity #desi #punjabi #india #indian #ootd #rollsroycephantom #cheshire #cheshirelife #religiouslife#hypebeast#picoftheday #photooftheday #christianlouboutin #tomford #gucci #berluti #louisvuitton #billionairecouture #billionaire @rollsroycecars #london

As we celebrate Vaisakhi year after year, we are confronted with an ugly reality that is in stark contrast to these ideals. Despite its progressive outlook, the current world order is clearly in a regressive shift.
