The 9th Annual Mega Job Fair and Business Expo 2016

PICS , 28 Jul, 2016 11:31 AM
PICS management and staff invite you for the 9th Mega Job Fair & Business Expo 2016, the largest career expo in the Lower Mainland. It will take place at North Surrey Recreation Centre at 10275 City Parkway on August 4th, 10 AM - 4 PM.

“The Mega Job Fair & Business Expo receives tremendous public response and achieves a great turnout every year. Therefore, we are extremely excited for this year as well, and we are anticipating another fantastic event,” said Charan Gill, CEO of PICS Society.

Sponsored by Vancity, PICS’ 9th Annual Mega Job Fair & Business Expo combines and presents the best of two events. The Mega Job Fair aims to stimulate employment in a dynamic and proactive environment by empowering companies and participants. The Business Expo enables businesses, government agencies and industries to showcase products and services, find networking opportunities, and build a business community that promotes economic progress and diversity. “Our greatest hope and aim for the event is to unite employers and employees, and build a progressive and collective network and community that values diversity and service – because that’s what PICS Society is all about,” said Satbir Cheema, Director of PICS Employment Programs and Planning.

Katarina Low, Program Assistant and Resource Advisor for the BEST Program, and Event Coordinator for the Mega Job Fair & Business Expo, also expressed her excitement for the event: “The Mega Job Fair & Business Expo is a unique event for job seekers as well as employers, benefiting both parties. Whether you are looking for a job, networking opportunities, or ways to showcase your products and services, the Mega Job Fair & Business Expo is the place to be!”

“We would like to thank Valley Driving School, silver sponsor, as well as Starbucks Coffee, Select Pizza, and Nanak Foods for their support and service as the recognized food and beverage sponsors for the event,” said Sunil Rawat, Senior Business Advisor of the BEST Program and Event Manager for the Mega Job Fair & Business Expo. “We are also extremely grateful to the City of Surrey and Business In Vancouver for all their support.”
