WATCH: Bride Let Photographer Set Fire On Her Gown Only To Take A Wedding Photo. How Far Will You Go

Darpan News Desk IANS, 18 May, 2017 12:38 PM
In video footage a woman can be seen allowing her photographer to set her dress alight in an apparent bid to get the perfect picture.

As her dress goes up in flames, she calmly poses by a lake - as if nothing out of the ordinary is happening.

But as the flames slowly start to get more violent, she panics and a woman can be seen rushing into the frame with a fire extinguisher, in the footage posted by China People's Daily.

Zheng, the photographer, told that a fire extinguisher was on hand to put out the fire at any time.

He said: 'We did research beforehand, from the choice of oil, wedding dress testing and the time required to put out the fire, to ensure that everything was under control.'

The idea was inspired by a trend set by John Michael Cooper, a wedding photographer who aimed to create a ritual known as Trash the Dress by destroying wedding dresses in the name of art in 2001.

The trend became popular over many years after his photos caught lots of attention.

Zheng said he wished to follow the same trend. He added that his client thought it was 'a cool idea' and agreed to do so.
