Watch: He Stopped Plane On Runway. Then Another Aircraft Crashed Right Into Him

Darpan News Desk IANS, 26 Sep, 2016 01:01 PM
Heart-busting video shows two planes crashing on a runway in America last week. Thom Richard was competing in the Reno National Championship Air Races on September 18 when his plane was hit from behind by another aircraft.

A camera in the cockpit of Mr Richard's plane captured the shakes-inducing action. He posted the footage on YouTube.

Mr Richard stopped his engine on the runway because of technical problems but this was not conveyed to another participant in the air stunt show, who rear-ended him. Fortunately, only his hand was injured.

"Another four feet to the left and I would have been mincemeat. Literally dodging a bullet. A busted up hand is a small price to pay. I'll take it", he explained in a Facebook post.
