'We Rubbed Noses, Hope It'll Help Me Sleep': Steve Smith On Dalai Lama

IANS, 24 Mar, 2017 01:21 PM
The Australian cricket team on Friday visited Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, at his residence at McLeodganj in Dharamsala, ahead of the fourth and final Test cricket match between India and Australia.

The Dalai Lama was seen offering his advice to the Australian Captain, Steve Smith, including attaining peace of mind and improving sleep ahead of the Dharamsala Test.

The Dalai Lama also received a signed t-shirt from members of the Australian touring cricket team.

The four-match series is currently locked at 1-1 after the third Test between two sides also ended in a draw in Ranchi.

While India will seek one last push in order to bring a triumphant end to the proceedings, Australia will be well aware of their rare chance to create history.
