A 22-year-old Indian woman has died in a freak accident in her own driveway here while she was assisting her sister to jump-start their car.
According to a New Zealand Punjabi Herald report on Thursday, the woman was identified as Harpreet Kaur.
The Auckland-based Kaur was pursuing higher studies at a local University and had gone to Wellington to attend her sister's graduation ceremony, the Indian Weekender reported. No other details were available.
Kaur's sister was also reported to be injured in the accident which has shocked the Indian community in the country.
