60-year-old Indian man commits suicide in Sharjah

    A 60-year-old Indian man has allegedly committed suicide in Sharjah by hanging himself at his home, a media report has said.
     
    The man identified by initials JFR was found hanging from the ceiling at his home with a piece of cloth in Al Naba’a area on Wednesday, a police official was quoted as saying by the Gulf News.
     
    The man had apparently committed suicide by hanging himself with a piece of cloth, the official said.
     
    The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and forensics officials examined the scene of the apparent suicide after police reported the incident on Wednesday, the official said.
     
    The man’s body was transferred to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy.
