Clampdown On Social Media: SJF Threatens Action Against Capt Amarinder Singh

IANS, 06 Sep, 2018 01:20 PM
Sikhs for Justice, through its legal advisor, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, has threatened to file cases against Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

Reacting to the clampdown on their online network of Twitter and FB accounts, Pannun, in a video released on Thursday, said the two leaders would have to fight the cases the SFJ would file against them in any country they visited.

Since a lot of propaganda by the SFJ is also on WhatsApp and the Punjab government had decided to register cases against admins of such groups, Pannun also asked to be made a group admin so that he could contest these cases.
