Donald Trump Invited For Indian-American Event Against Terrorism

IANS, 13 Sep, 2016 11:57 AM
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has been invited for an Indian-American event in the US to raise funds for the victims of terrorism, the event organisers have said.

The Humanity United Against Terror Charity event would be held in New Jersey on October 9, the Republican Hindu Coalition said.

"Invited guests also includes Donald J Trump who will be the key note speaker at the event," the organisation said in a statement.

"The net proceeds of this event shall go to the victims of terror all across the world, with particular emphasis on the plight of 500,000 Hindu refugees that are victims of Islamic Extremist Terrorism," it said.

The Trump Campaign did not respond to the email asking about his confirmation attending the event, which among others would be addressed by his key aide Newt Gingrich.
